Primary Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure request Support planning and implementing TruCare software releases including testing and training Support the development and execution of TruCare test plans and scenarios for the core business system and related processes / systems Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks Translates concepts into practice Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues. Reviews work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement Forecasts and plans resource requirementsA Day in the Life: Business Systems Analyst: Reviewing the work of others and providing recommendations for improvement Investigating non-standard requests and problems and identifying solutions Communicating and presenting directly to all levels of leadership Developing and driving innovative approaches Serves as a resource to others Generally, work is self-directed and not prescribed, although help or guidance from an expert may be required from time to time for complex tasks. Role may be as an individual contributor or a supervisor with direct reports Leads with confidence and is empowered to ask questions or challenge status quoYoull be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent degree 3+ years of total experience in Information Technology 3+ years of experience as Business Analyst 3+ years of experience in Insurance domain (Preferably Healthcare) 3+ years of SQL and/or Microsoft Access experience 2+ years of experience in production support / Service coordinator Proven testing experience to ensure intended results are achieved Proven experience gathering and documenting requirements Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Ability to communicate analysis and opportunities effectively to clients and the business, both written and verbally Ability to effectively problem solve and manage multiple priorities successful Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking ordersPreferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as Quality Engineer 3+ years of experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets, and making data-driven analytical decisions EMR implementation experience Experience with vendor software / third-party applications Six Sigma knowledge, terminology, and/or experience Agile knowledge, terminology, and/or experience Knowledge of TruCare or other care management, utilization, disease management systems Code validation Proven ability to manage relationships across a large enterprise and influence, cross-functional teams, without formal authorityCareers with WellMed.
