Responsible for maintaining current digital facility square footage and plan documentation. The CAD tech will assist in project design, review and the documentation of department codes and square footages from various architecture firms. Involved in new building construction review and the design process for budgetary remodels or refurbish work. Works with the production of drawings, but not the interpretation or design.Responsible for the management of existing facility drawings, including the updating of drawings to ensure accuracy by verifying field conditions and incorporating drawing info provided by design partners. Must maintain allocation or cost reports for firewalls, location of devices.Work with code requirements, including but not limited to, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), keep and update life safety plans, and ensure the proper code classes for smaller project redesigns.Trade or vocational school courses in AutoCAD design required.At least two years of CAD-related experience or at least four years of relevant experience preferred.Knowledge of current version of Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) and/or Google Sketchup preferred.Prepare detailed drawings working from template or past drawingsRead construction drawings and prepare drawings for staking and excavationMaintain database of drawings including project and site record drawingsUpdating of drawings database as new drawings are approvedCreate computer-generated drawings to include as-built and construction drawingsCreate details from assembly drawingsDevelop detailed design drawings and specificationsLocating drawings and monitors the sign-out of drawingsCreate technical drawings and plansRead and interpret engineering drawings, construction drawings and other technical informationRecommended SkillsArchitectural DesignAuto CadAutodesk RevitBuilding DesignTechnical DrawingsRecommended JobsCad TechnicianTechnicianBismarck,NdTechnician, Bismarck,NdCAD TechnicianSanford HealthBismarckFull-Time
