Bismarck Public Schools is accepting applications for Kindergarten teachers for the 2021-2022 school year.

Principals will select from this pool of applications to interview for their specific Kindergarten openings.
Valid North Dakota teaching license or the ability to obtain a license by the start of schoolMust be qualified to teach Kindergarten
This posting is for external teaching applicants (this also includes current BPS employees in support staff/temporary/substitute positions). Current contracted part-time BPS teachers wanting a full-time position should also complete the external application.

A teaching contract is 187 days. The school year starts on August 20, 2021 with a teacher work day followed by staff development days August 23, 24, and 25. Students start on August 26.
External applicants are allowed to bring in up to 12 years of K – 12 teaching experience.
New Teacher Orientation for all teachers new to BPS will be held in early August, dates to be determined.
